Description
This program provides financial assistance to local government units in Illinois for the development of comprehensive project plans or engineering studies to address wastewater collection and treatment needs in unsewered communities. The goal is to support planning efforts that enable communities to identify effective solutions and become eligible for subsequent construction grants. Funding is strictly for planning and does not cover land acquisition, design or construction engineering, construction, or planning for facility rehabilitation or future growth.
