Description
The Campbell Foundation’s Unsolicited Grants Program supports nonprofit organizations that engage and serve diverse populations and seek to dismantle systems that constrain individuals’ choices and opportunities. It has a particular interest in advancing racial equity, programming focused on Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color, and leadership reflecting the communities served.
Although the Foundation has primarily supported environmental work in the Chesapeake Bay region and California, this program welcomes work beyond its usual programmatic categories, subject to its exclusions. Program interests include agriculture, clean and safe drinking water, community engagement, water management, and watershed advocacy. Grants provide general support for future expenses and activities, including ongoing programs, rather than capacity building or capital campaigns.
