The call covers the 2025–2027 and 2026–2028 cohorts and is supported by the AI4CI project, co-funded through the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme.
The scholarships aim to make advanced digital education more accessible, strengthen higher-level skills in artificial intelligence and computer science, and promote excellence, equality and diversity. Support can cover tuition, living and transportation, academic mobility, and other study-related costs. Selection considers academic merit, gender disparities and socioeconomic circumstances, while welcoming applicants regardless of gender or socioeconomic situation. UPC runs the call and awards and pays the scholarships directly under its own responsibility.
