The University of Napoli Federico II (UNINA) offers this Cycle 1 support through UPRAISE, a Digital Europe Programme project coordinated by the University of Bologna. The call reduces financial and socio-economic barriers to postgraduate education in public managerial practice and the digital transformation of public administration. Support takes the form of tuition and enrolment fee waivers, rather than direct payments to students.
The educational pathway combines an eligible UNINA Master programme with a 24-hour online UPRAISE module. Topics include artificial intelligence, data-driven public services, Virtual Worlds, immersive technologies, digital twins, and the organisational and managerial implications of emerging technologies. Participants learn to critically assess technological opportunities and governance challenges and apply their knowledge in public administration contexts.
