Description
The URA-Sandia Graduate Student Summer Fellowship provides paid STEM research experiences at Sandia National Laboratories. Sponsored by Universities Research Association (URA) and administered through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE), the program supports unclassified science and technology projects aligned with Sandia’s Research Foundations and national security mission as a U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration laboratory.
Fellows work closely with Sandia mentors and technical staff on challenging research and development projects within a hosting Research Foundation. Research spans life and physical sciences, engineering, computing, materials, and microelectronics. Fellows also participate in meetings, events, and tours sponsored by Sandia’s Student Intern Program, Academic Programs, and URA to support professional development and STEM networking.
