Description
The URA Visiting Scholars Program enables faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students from Universities Research Association (URA) member institutions to pursue research at Fermilab for periods ranging from short visits (e.g., conferences, workshops, summer schools) to extended stays of up to one year. The program is designed to foster collaboration between URA-member universities and Fermilab, advancing research in high-energy physics, astrophysics, accelerator physics, materials science, computer science, engineering, and related fields aligned with the Fermilab mission. Funding covers travel, lodging, and, in some cases, salary support, with the goal of strengthening scientific ties and supporting impactful research.
