Description
The URA Visiting Scholars Program provides funding for faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students from Universities Research Association (URA) member institutions to conduct research at Fermilab for periods ranging from short visits to extended residencies of up to one year. The program aims to foster collaboration and advance research in high-energy physics, astrophysics, accelerator science, materials science, computer science, engineering, and related fields aligned with Fermilab’s mission. Funding can support travel and local lodging for short visits, or salary and travel expenses for longer stays. The program is funded by contributions from URA-member universities in the US, Italy, and the UK.
