Description
The Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), a component of the Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) administered in Michigan by the Michigan State Police (MSP), provides funding to designated high-threat, high-density urban areas. The program aims to help these areas develop and sustain the capabilities necessary to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from acts of terrorism.
