Description
The Urgent Need Grant Program is administered by the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) to provide emergency financial support to communities in Maine experiencing immediate and severe threats to public health or welfare as a result of declared state or federal disasters. The program is designed to fund projects that require swift intervention and cannot be addressed through local resources or other funding sources, targeting situations arising from both natural and man-made disasters.
