--- ## Description The Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is an intensive three-year subspecialty training program designed for physicians in obstetrics and gynecology or urology who wish to acquire advanced expertise in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. The fellowship emphasizes comprehensive management of complex benign pelvic surgeries, including pelvic floor disorders, incontinence, and prolapse. Fellows receive hands-on training in all surgical modalities—vaginal, laparoscopic/robotic, and open surgery—and work within a multidisciplinary team that includes specialists from gastroenterology, urology, neurology, colorectal surgery, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. The curriculum integrates clinical evaluation, nonsurgical management, and research, with opportunities to pursue a Master of Biomedical Science degree.
