This award enables U.S. scholars and professionals to conduct research, teach, or combine both activities on topics relevant to contemporary U.S.-Philippine relations. Projects in all disciplines are welcome, with particular interest in economics, education, history, journalism, and political science. Grantees may engage with local communities through public talks, mentoring, and lectures at multiple institutions, helping to strengthen academic and cultural ties between the United States and the Philippines.
