The Center for Khmer Studies (CKS) offers annual US Scholar Research Fellowships to support research in the social sciences and humanities focused on Cambodia or Cambodia in a comparative regional or international context. Research must be conducted at least in part in Cambodia. The program provides direct funding, access to resources, logistical support, and in-country contacts. There are two fellowship categories: Senior Research Fellowships for PhD holders and Dissertation Research Fellowships for current doctoral students. Fellowships are available for up to 11 months, with options for both long-term (6–11 months) and short-term (up to 4 months) research periods.
