The Utah Artist Fellowship Program provides $5,000 one-time awards to outstanding individual artists residing in Utah, supporting their career growth at pivotal moments. Fellowships are awarded in Literary Arts, Performing Arts (rotating disciplines; music in 2026/2027), and Visual & Design Arts. The program is not intended to fund specific projects, recognize lifetime achievement, or support artists just beginning their careers. Fellows are selected through a rigorous process by nationally recognized, out-of-state arts professionals, based on application narratives and work samples from the past five years. The goal is to recognize creative excellence and encourage further artistic development.
