Description
The Utah Boating Recreation Grant is a state-funded program administered by the Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation. Supported by boating registration fees and dedicated state funds, it helps communities improve public boating access, safety, and infrastructure as recreation demand grows and water levels change.
Funding supports the construction, repair, or replacement of facilities such as boat ramps, courtesy docks, and parking areas. It also supports shoreline protection from vessel-wave erosion, drought-related access improvements, non-motorized access points that reduce launch-area congestion and safety concerns, and equipment for boating-related search and rescue.
