Description
The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food administers the Utah Grazing Improvement Program (GIP), providing cost-share grants for practical projects that improve rangeland management and sustainability. These improvements can help producers manage livestock distribution, enhance forage production, and reduce invasive species cover.
Established by the 2006 Rangeland Improvement Act (HB145), GIP combines project funding, regional coordination, and ecological monitoring.
