Description
The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food runs this statewide program to establish and improve habitat for pollinators, particularly native pollinators and bees. It supports planting pollinator-friendly native species on public or private land, expanding existing landscapes, and connecting habitats so pollinators can reach pollen, nectar, and other resources.
The program also aims to increase access to native seeds and public involvement in pollinator conservation. Projects near watersheds and valuable habitat corridors receive priority. Awarded applicants receive regionally selected habitat kits, seed packets, or both, according to project needs.
