The Teacher Initiated Project (TIP) Grant from the Utah Division of Arts & Museums provides K-12 educators in Utah with an opportunity for personal artistic growth. The grant funds 16 hours of one-on-one instruction with a professional teaching artist in any discipline, selected by the applicant. The intent is to foster personal exploration and skill development in the arts, regardless of prior experience, and is not designed for classroom application or curriculum improvement. The award is paid directly to the artist, not the teacher.
