Description
The Utility Relocation Reimbursement Grant Program (URRGP), administered by FloridaCommerce, provides financial reimbursement to eligible communications service providers for the documented costs incurred during utility relocations requested by county or municipal authorities or other qualifying entities. The program is designed to reduce the financial burden on service providers when infrastructure must be moved to accommodate public projects. Funding is sourced from monthly distributions of the local communications services tax. Only costs directly attributable to the physical relocation of facilities, as required by a qualifying authority, are eligible for reimbursement.
