Description
The VA Storefront Support Program, administered by the Hope Foundation, is designed to enhance the participation of Veterans Health Administration (VA) Medical Centers in oncology clinical trials within the National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) and the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP). The program funds the establishment or significant expansion of "Storefront" memberships—a collaborative model where several VA Medical Centers are coordinated by a central hub, sharing administrative resources and expertise. This structure aims to streamline trial activation, increase accrual, and expand veterans' access to cutting-edge cancer research. The initiative honors Dr. Charles Blanke's leadership in advancing clinical trial access for veterans.
