Description
The Valerie Moran Memorial Grant supports professionals in interior design and furnishings-related fields who want to expand their horizons through travel and professional development. Administered by the International Furnishings and Design Association Educational Foundation and supported by the IFDA New York Chapter, it can fund travel for inspiration, scouting products and creative ideas at trade shows, travel to conferences, and professional development courses.
The New York Chapter established the grant in memory of Valerie Moran, FIFDA, an innovator, designer, merchandiser, and business leader. The program reflects her legacy by recognizing outstanding innovation in design or merchandising, the highest integrity in business dealings, and innovative approaches to business practices.
