Description
The Vallejo Artists Mutual Fund is a unique, community-driven grant program designed to connect and empower Vallejo-based artists and cultural leaders. Administered by the Center for Cultural Innovation, the Fund shifts decision-making power to local artists, allowing them to nominate and uplift peers whose work enriches Vallejo’s arts and culture ecosystem. Rather than relying on external juries, this program uses a peer referral process to distribute unrestricted grants—supporting both individuals and organizations that contribute to the city’s creative vitality. The goal is to keep financial resources circulating locally, deepen community ties, and provide flexible support to sustain and grow Vallejo’s vibrant arts scene.
