Description
The Varda Shoham Clinical Science Training Initiative, administered by the Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP), honors the legacy of Dr. Varda Shoham by supporting training programs that advance the integration of scientific principles into clinical training. The initiative funds innovative, transformative, and impactful projects at the graduate, practicum, internship, or postdoctoral level that strengthen the scientific foundation of clinical education. Emphasis is placed on hands-on engagement of students in clinical science activities, such as data collection, analysis, and evaluation, as well as projects that address diversity, inclusion, and the needs of underrepresented populations. The goal is to foster sustainable improvements in the integration of science and practice within clinical psychology training curricula.
