The Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS) Travel Award supports a recipient’s visit to one or more vascular surgery centers of excellence. The program aims to stimulate academic inspiration, foster fellowship within vascular surgery, and enhance the recipient’s career through travel and professional exchange. It is not intended to support specific research interests.
The award is designed for early-career VESS members committed to academic vascular surgery. Applicants describe how their proposed visits connect with their career goals, with recommended support from host institutions explaining how their institutional experience aligns with those objectives. Recipients subsequently reflect on the visit’s contribution to their career through a written report and a presentation at the Society’s Annual Winter Meeting.
