The Veterans Legacy Grants Program (VLGP), administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs' National Cemetery Administration, funds educational institutions and eligible non-profits to conduct research, develop educational materials, and promote public engagement about the histories of Veterans interred in VA national, State, or Tribal Veterans’ cemeteries. Projects may include curriculum development, digital mapping, online tools, and other educational resources designed to connect the public—especially K-12 and university students—with Veterans’ stories and contributions. The program emphasizes community engagement and partnerships to preserve and share Veterans’ legacies.
