Description
The Veterans Legacy Grants Program (VLGP), administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs' National Cemetery Administration, funds projects that research and share the histories of Veterans interred in national, State, or Tribal Veterans’ cemeteries. The program supports the development of educational materials, curriculum, digital resources, and community engagement activities that highlight Veterans’ contributions to American history. The goal is to educate the public—especially students—about Veterans’ stories and to foster connections between communities and their local Veterans’ cemeteries.
VLGP awards are intended for organizations that can conduct cemetery-based research, produce publicly accessible educational tools, and promote awareness of Veterans’ legacies through innovative, collaborative projects.
