Description
The Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration’s Office of Criminal Justice Programs (OCJP) administers this federal Victims of Crime Act program in Tennessee. The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime makes annual grants from the Crime Victims Fund to states, which select organizations to provide direct services to crime victims.
Funded services respond to victims’ emotional and physical needs, help primary and secondary victims stabilize their lives, and support their participation in the criminal justice system.
