Description
Operating Support Small (OSS) is a Virginia Commission for the Arts program for small nonprofit organizations whose primary purpose is the arts. It supports organizations with ongoing arts programs open to the public, investing in artistic excellence, operational excellence, and community engagement within each organization’s mission. The Commission aims to help organizations continue, strengthen, and expand arts experiences for Virginians.
The grant covers annual operating expenses needed to deliver arts programs and services, including artist fees, personnel, facilities operations, accessibility services, marketing, supplies, and domestic travel. It does not cover capital expenses.
