    Description

The Virginia A. Livolsi APSS Study Stipends support pathology residents spending one month at an institution other than their regular training institution. Administered by the Arthur Purdy Stout Society of Surgical Pathologists (APSS), the program enables focused study of a specific area of diagnostic surgical pathology. The stipend covers travel and living expenses associated with the visit, while the resident’s regular training program continues to provide salary.

The opportunity centers on a defined study visit within ongoing residency training rather than an extended placement. APSS is dedicated to excellence in the teaching, research, and practice of surgical pathology and strongly supports and encourages applications from residents who are underrepresented minorities.
