Description
The Virginia Talent Accelerator Program is delivered by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) in partnership with the Virginia Community College System. It provides customized recruitment and training services to qualified companies establishing or expanding operations in Virginia. Its goal is to speed hiring, shorten the new-hire learning curve, and accelerate facility start-ups.
Services are designed around each company’s processes, equipment, roles, performance standards, and culture. They can include recruitment campaigns and pre-employment experiences; hands-on, simulated, classroom, video, and e-learning instruction; and organizational development and operational excellence training.
