Description
Virginia Tech’s 4-VA Collaborative Research Grants fund pilot research intended to improve research competitiveness in Virginia and lay the groundwork for major external grants. The program brings faculty at 4-VA institutions together to establish partnerships, make better use of university resources, and access specialized laboratory equipment across institutions. At Virginia Tech, 4-VA activities are managed by Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies in coordination with the provost’s office and academic units.
Virginia Tech is particularly interested in collaborations aligned with its research initiatives in artificial intelligence, health, security, and quantum technologies. Other interests include emerging technologies, pathways to graduate school in Virginia, and expanded experiential learning opportunities.
