Description
The Virtual Grant Writing Workshop is a structured, interactive course designed for early stage investigators at SWOG or NCTN member institutions who are preparing cancer research grant submissions. The program includes didactic lectures on grantsmanship and biostatistics, peer review sessions, and hands-on guidance in developing all sections of a grant proposal, including specific aims, research plans, and career development materials. Participants receive direct feedback from experienced peer reviewers and access to biostatistical support. The workshop is held virtually, typically with six bi-weekly sessions over the summer.
