Description
Established in 2006, the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust’s Vision & Call Internship Program helps young adults consider their vocational direction while gaining meaningful ministry or work experience. It is built on the belief that lessons shaping commitment and personal direction are best learned through apprenticeship within a community of mentors and peers. The program typically targets young adults ages 20–25 and supports summer, part-time, and full-time internships.
The program has three goals: provide a transforming experience for young adults, increase the pool of talented emerging leaders entering the workforce, and strengthen Christian organizations’ commitment to developing young leaders. Internships are designed to benefit participants while adding short- and long-term value to their host organizations. Mentoring, vocational discernment, significant work, and connection with a broader movement of emerging leaders are central to the experience.
