Description
The Vision & Call Internship Program, established by the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, is designed to launch young adults (typically ages 20–25) into their vocations through transformative, faith-based internships. The program aims to provide meaningful ministry or work experience, intentional mentoring, and vocational exploration within Christian organizations. Emphasizing a robust apprenticeship model, the program seeks to develop emerging leaders, foster a culture of leadership development in participating nonprofits, and integrate interns into a broader movement of Christian leadership.
Organizations receiving the grant are expected to implement six program essentials: a careful intern selection process, involvement of experienced mentors, apprenticeship-based learning, intentional conversations about vocation and calling, significant ministry opportunities, and integration with a wider network of emerging leaders.
