Funding Amounts: $5,000–$10,000 for one year

Key Information: Projects must benefit the specified Fox Valley service area; capital campaigns are ineligible.
Description
Visionary Grants, offered through the Community Vision Fund at the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, support community-driven ideas emerging from lived experience and grassroots leadership, and projects testing new approaches, piloting emerging ideas, or exploring creative solutions. The program welcomes early-stage, evolving, experimental, and non-traditional work that may struggle to find investment through conventional funding categories.
The grants encourage thoughtful risks, treating learning as important as outcomes. Projects may strengthen community connections, generate shared learning, or offer insights into systems and root causes. The Community Vision Fund advances well-being in Calumet, Outagamie, Shawano, and Waupaca counties and the Neenah-Menasha area of Winnebago County, Wisconsin. General operating support for established programs belongs under Annual Responsive Grants instead.
