Description
This program provides grants to TK–12 teachers working in low-income public schools in select Bay Area counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara) to bring professional visual and material artists, such as painters, sculptors, wood carvers, or weavers, into their classrooms. The goal is to enrich lesson plans with creative, hands-on experiences led by artists or art historians, fostering artistic inspiration and skill development among students.
