Description
The Visiting Grand Rounds Professorship, sponsored by the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT), is designed to promote the professional development of mid-level faculty in surgery. Awardees are selected to serve as Visiting Professors for Grand Rounds at academic institutions across the United States. The program aims to increase the visibility and name recognition of mid-career SSAT members, foster networking opportunities, and encourage knowledge sharing within the surgical community. Selected professors participate in Grand Rounds presentations, engage with faculty and trainees, and are matched with host institutions for these activities.
