Description
The Visiting Teaching Fellowship, part of the Queenan Global Health Awards administered by the Foundation for SMFM, provides funding for SMFM members to serve as visiting teaching faculty in established obstetrics programs in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The fellowship honors Dr. John T. Queenan and aims to build capacity in perinatal health by empowering leaders to share expertise in regions facing significant maternal and perinatal health challenges. Fellows are expected to spend approximately two months at an LMIC site, developing and delivering curriculum in high-risk or critical care obstetrics, and to create educational materials for broader dissemination.
