    Description

The Visual Arts grant from the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) supports the creation, production, and exhibition of contemporary visual art projects—including painting, sculpture, photography, installations, video and sound art, art publications, and multimedia works—by individuals, teams, collectives, and institutions from or working on the Arab region. The grant is designed to foster innovative artistic production and presentation, enhance the visibility of Arab visual arts, and support ambitious projects at various stages, from research and development to production.

Eligible expenses include project materials, equipment or space rental, artist and technical collaborator fees, and travel directly linked to project implementation or research. The program does not support retroactive expenses or offer mobility-only grants, but will consider travel costs integral to the project.
