Description
This residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity invites visual artists to explore speculative futures, science fiction, myth-making, and world-building. The program emphasizes research, experimentation, and hands-on art-making, with a focus on futurity as an anti-oppressive and restorative force. Participants will receive mentorship from accomplished faculty, access to individual studio spaces, and shared production facilities. The residency encourages cross-disciplinary engagement and is designed to foster critical thought, professional growth, and artistic innovation within a vibrant peer community.
