    Description

The Von Neumann Fellowships, offered by the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS), provide mid-career mathematicians and theoretical computer scientists the opportunity to pursue independent research in a stimulating scholarly environment. Fellows are appointed as Members of the IAS School of Mathematics for visits ranging from 2 to 11 months, with access to on-campus housing and the full resources of the Institute. The program is designed to enable recipients to focus exclusively on research, free from teaching or administrative obligations, and to participate in the vibrant academic life of the IAS, including postdoctoral mentoring activities.
