Description
The South Carolina Clinical & Translational Research Institute (SCTR) at the Medical University of South Carolina offers vouchers to help investigators address practical research needs. The program supports gathering preliminary data for grant proposals, improving the science or safety of research projects, and developing a translational focus. It is open to basic, translational, and clinical researchers, as well as community research projects affiliated with MUSC.
Vouchers reimburse approved research services and supplies rather than providing unrestricted project support. Supported expenses include research coordination services, laboratory services, clinical procedures, pregnancy testing supplies, and access to core facilities or off-campus laboratories. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis within designated windows, with a corresponding expiration date for each voucher.
