Description
Vermont Pollution Control Grants support water pollution abatement and control projects through the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources’ Department of Environmental Conservation. The program covers municipal equipment, conveyances, and structural or nonstructural facilities needed to prevent, manage, treat, store, or dispose of stormwater, sewage, or waste.
Qualifying work can include wastewater treatment and wastewater systems, combined sewer separation, indirect discharge systems, groundwater protection, and flood resiliency work related to a structural facility. A project’s grant percentage depends on its eligible type and costs, technical and affordability points under the priority system, legislative funding availability, and its ranking within the fundable range.
