Description
The Wadad Kadi Travel Fellowships for Doctoral Students are designed to encourage and support graduate student participation in the Middle East Studies Association (MESA) annual meeting. Established in 2014, these fellowships recognize doctoral candidates presenting original research, especially those working in Islamic studies or history before 950 CE, as well as students from all other academic fields represented at the meeting. The fellowship provides travel support, enabling emerging scholars to present their work, engage with peers, and become active members of the Middle East studies scholarly community.
