Description
The Artist Accelerator Program at the Sundance Institute is designed to empower independent storytellers—emerging and mid-career artists—by providing financial, creative, and tactical support. Launched in 2021, the program offers a variety of opportunities including yearlong fellowships, project advancement and completion grants, and mentorship. The program is open to artists across disciplines and career stages, aiming to catalyze project development and completion, foster professional growth, and build sustainable creative communities. In addition to direct artist support, the program collaborates with peer organizations and advocates for equity, access, and ethical standards in the independent storytelling ecosystem.
