Description
The Warburg/I Tatti Joint Fellowship is a prestigious, collaborative program offered by Villa I Tatti (Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, Florence) and the Warburg Institute (School of Advanced Study, University of London). It provides early and mid-career scholars with a unique, immersive research experience split between two world-class institutions: the Warburg Institute in London (fall term) and Villa I Tatti in Florence (spring term). The fellowship supports advanced research projects on the history of science, knowledge, and technology in early modern Italy, as well as broader studies on the transmission and circulation of ideas, objects, and people during the Renaissance. Fellows benefit from access to outstanding libraries, archives, and scholarly communities, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and deep engagement with Italian Renaissance studies and its global connections.
