The Warburg/I Tatti Joint Fellowship is a collaborative residential fellowship offered by Villa I Tatti (The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, Florence) and the Warburg Institute (School of Advanced Study, University of London). It supports early and mid-career scholars pursuing advanced research related to the history of science, knowledge, or technology in early modern Italy. Fellows spend the autumn term at the Warburg Institute in London and the spring term at Villa I Tatti in Florence, engaging with vibrant academic communities and benefiting from world-class resources. The fellowship emphasizes research on the transmission and circulation of ideas, objects, and people during the Renaissance, as well as the historiography and later reinterpretations of the Italian Renaissance.
