Description
The Washington State Department of Commerce’s Multifamily Housing Unit is soliciting applications for capital funding through its Housing Trust Fund Tribal Set-Aside. The opportunity supports affordable multifamily rental projects that increase Washington’s housing stock or preserve existing affordable housing through rehabilitation.
Housing Trust Fund resources are limited to affordable housing for low-income households earning up to 80% of area median income. A development may include other uses, but these funds cannot pay for its commercial space, nonprofit facilities, or market-rate housing. Projects providing medical or mental health services are generally identified as facilities and are not eligible for these funds.
