--- ## Description The Watanakunakorn Clinician Award is presented annually by the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) to honor the memory of Dr. Chatrchai Watanakunakorn. This award recognizes an IDSA member or fellow who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the clinical practice of infectious diseases. Recipients are selected for excellence in direct clinical care, clinical research, patient or community education, compassion, patient advocacy, community service, and service to infectious diseases societies.
