    Description

The Research Council of Finland (RCF) funds Finnish participation in the Water4All 2025 Joint Transnational Call “Water and Health”, part of the European Partnership Water4All. The programme supports research and innovation addressing links between water and human health, including waterborne contaminants, water quality and exposure monitoring, treatment technologies, and governance and policy integration.

The international call considers the One Health approach, recognising connections between human, environmental and animal health. Priorities include accurate, efficient and cost-effective monitoring, better risk assessment and management, and sustainable treatment for safe drinking water and sanitation. Projects should contribute to evidence-based water management policies, consider ongoing research, and incorporate relevant socio-economic or capacity-development issues. This Finnish invitation-only stage is for partners in consortia already recommended for funding.
