Water4All’s 2026 Joint Transnational Call supports collaborative research and innovation on sustainable water management, excluding extreme events and circularity. The partnership is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe, with 32 funding organisations from 29 countries participating in this call. Projects should advance long-term water security and contribute to evidence-based global, EU and national water-management policies and strategies.
The call covers integrated monitoring and assessment, nature-based approaches at hydrological and hydrogeological system scale, smart and adaptive water infrastructure, and systemic change through policy coherence and inclusive governance. Scientific and applied results are both welcome, including new knowledge, tools, methodologies and management models. Proposals must demonstrate knowledge transfer and impact, integrating stakeholder needs into project design. Regular and Early Career Researcher proposals share a common scientific evaluation process.
