Description
The WCA Foundation, a Signature Fund of the Minneapolis Foundation, offers annual project-specific grants to nonprofit organizations that address the fundamental needs of adult women (ages 18+) in Minnesota’s seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties). Funding priorities include health, economic stability, shelter, safety, and education. The program is guided by a volunteer membership of local women, and emphasizes initiatives that are led by women, designed by and for women, and center women’s voices and lived experiences. The foundation seeks holistic, community-directed solutions that demonstrate a clear and lasting impact on women’s lives.
