Co-sponsored by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) and The Huntington, this fellowship provides one month of support for research on eighteenth-century British society and culture. Its scope includes politics, literature, religion, art, and other relevant eighteenth-century topics, rather than limiting support to a single subject within the period.
The fellowship places research at The Huntington at the center of the supported project. Applicants must demonstrate through a competitive application that research there is critical to their work. Support is available to scholars holding a PhD and graduate students who have advanced to doctoral candidacy.
