The Welch-Hagler Fellows program, established by The Welch Foundation and Jon Hagler, is designed to bring distinguished national academy-level researchers in chemistry and allied fields to Texas A&M University for visiting appointments. Appointments last from three to twelve months (which may be spread over multiple years), fostering multidisciplinary research collaborations and enhancing the university’s research profile. Each Fellow also supports two graduate students through funded fellowships, helping to attract and retain top faculty and students.
