Description
This scheme provides flexible support for early- and mid-career researchers of Black, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani heritage who are based in the UK. The awards aim to address underrepresentation in research funding by enabling recipients to undertake activities that strengthen their career trajectory—such as research projects, training, secondments, and network-building. Funding can be used for research or research-adjacent activities, including developing new research ideas, skills training, collaborative meetings, and more. The goal is to enhance the professional profile and competitiveness of awardees for future funding, promotion, and leadership roles, while fostering a positive and inclusive research culture.
